This book was a shitshow of astronomical proportion. Honestly it started off GREAT. It had tremendous proportion, I don’t know how things could go so bad so fast. Or maybe I do. I know exactly what the problem was for me, the adult characters with the emotional intelligence of teenagers

Emily was a pushover she said so herself. She let that man child walk all over her for crumbs of attention and affectation. Honestly I’m not judging, been there done that, but her dating history just shows a very unattractive pattern.

Jameson, as said previously, was a man child, incapable of expressing his emotions other than by throwing tantrum or being cold and distance. He wasn’t a bad person by all means, but my man had issues and needed a fucking psychiatrist.

Their relationship was messy and toxic, pretty realistic if we’re being honest. But that’s the thing I don’t read romances to get a shot of reality or an example of what shouldn’t be done..
