Ethan Chase hates the fey. They kidnapped him when he was 4 and because of that he lost his sister. He’s not even seen her for years. So of course he blames her too.
Against his better judgement he gets involved with a local half fey, and tries to help him. Which results in needing emergency transportation via magic coin to Nevernever to call upon his sister.
Thankfully we aren’t there long, because Kierann shows up and leads Ethan and his lady friend Kenzie back to the mortal world. Except nothing can be so straightforward.
I enjoyed this. I enjoyed Grim and Puck’s appearances, short though they were. I think book 4 remains my favorite, mostly because of Puck, but this one’s close.
