Imaginable: How to See the Future Coming and Feel Ready for Anything--Even Things That Seem Impossible Today by Jane McGonigal

slow-paced

2.5

Oof. This was a rough one for me. Maybe I’m just not creative enough to reap all the benefits of this book. However, I found it to be extremely repetitive and the examples the author used were almost exclusively related to Covid-19 which became old very quickly.

I did enjoy the chapter on empathy, as I find that to be useful and I liked the way she broke it down into “easy” and “hard” empathy. That chapter was a highlight in an otherwise difficult book.
