Dark Matter: The Private Life of Sir Isaac Newton by Philip Kerr

4.0

Yes, I enjoyed this book. It fleshed out the character of Newton, and gave some depth to his religious views. He was also portrayed as more a man of the world than he is generally perceived to be. The novel tells of his time in the Royal Mint, and how he combated not only thieves and counterfeiters, but also a anti-Catholic plot to purge London of Catholics.

Well written, a strong story, near equal to Kerr's Gunther series, with a few twists and turns.
