The Song of Thyssia by S.J. Stiles

This debut novel absolutely blew me away.
The poetic writing style within this book was absolutely captivating from the first page.
This book is the definition of a high fantasy, multiple pov, and perfectly descriptive writing that  doesn't bog you down by unnecessary information. The fact that this author packed in THIS much information/world building proves that a high fantasy book can be under 400 pages and still be wildly satisfying and informative.
I love the style of this book because no one character is the sole reason for the plot or story.
Every single character and every single point of view you are exposed to is a driving factor into the success or failure of the realm.
In this story you are essentially introduced to three major families and there is going to be a marriage to solidify the bonds that tie these three separate regions together. However; chaos ensues with scheming plot twists and political movements along with a magic system that sets ablaze a story that will have you desperate for book two.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in a high fantasy, high stakes book that has a medium to slow pace with some romantic subplots dabbled in.

This book is a fantasy readers delight and I cannot wait to see where this story will go next.
