Queen of Babble Gets Hitched by Meg Cabot
3.0
As I've said in previous reviews of this series, this is another example of how amazing Cabot is at creating deep but believable characters who, despite their flaws, are incredibly loveable!
That being said, the plot in this book really fell off the deep end for me. As an invested reader, you KNOW what Lizzie should/will eventually choose, but you're stuck waiting for her to make the realization. Heck, you knew at the end of book 2! Although this is refreshingly/scarily the way real life usually works out (why won't my friends just listen to me?!) it doesn't lead to an overly engaging reading experience.
The secondary characters totally made this book for me. Yeah, I care about Lizzie, Luke, Chaz, etc. but honestly Ava, Tiffany, even little Joey are more compelling
3/5
