Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk by David Sedaris
4.0
dark funny reflective fast-paced
Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

Reminiscent of Flannery O'Connor. Not really what I was expecting from Sedaris, but I did enjoy most of the stories. I appreciated the structure of the collection. The darkest stories are in the middle so that you are both eased in and out of them. It's funny how a collection of stories with animal characters and narrators really shines a light on class, race, and personal relationships in our society.
