From the Mouth of the Whale by Sjón, Victoria Cribb

challenging mysterious reflective slow-paced

Hmm, maybe I shouldn't have read it before bedtime, when I am at my groggiest, because I didn't really understand much of it (I think) and I found it a little too fragmentary. But I will definitely try this again because Sjóns prose (and the absolutely unbelievably good translation by Cribb) deserve it.
