It's a solid steamy second-chance love story. I enjoyed parts of it, but did find myself rushing through the end. The “conflict” between the MCs was a little repetitive at times, and I never really felt invested in the characters. Their reconnection was too rushed for me, and
the fact that Josiah asked the LOHL and mother of his children to just be fuck buddies, even if just for a few chapters, really bothered me
. I went between the physical book and audiobook, and I definitely think the audiobook narrators made it more enjoyable.
