This was my second book by this author, and while it’s no Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, I really enjoyed this YA fantasy.

We follow Olivia, our young FMC, as she navigates life at an orphanage and then later at her family home once she inexplicably receives a letter from family she didn’t realize she had asking her to come home. Olivia soon finds that everything at the house is not what it seems, as she unfolds the mystery of the past.

This was a quick read, had some really beautiful illustrations, and I really enjoyed the theme of home being something you choose.
