honestly a pretty disappointing third installment in the series for me. i felt mostly bored and uninterested for the first 300 pages, and found myself skimming for a lot of the last 100. maybe i just love sel too much and there wasn’t enough of him, maybe it was

bree’s memory loss, maybe the switching povs.

overall the main issue was the pacing. this book could’ve easily been 400 pages instead of 600. I’ll still be sat for the next one, though.
