Wow! Spicy romantasy perfection. I loved every second of The Veiled Kingdom!
Holly’s writing transported me completely, and was so full of adventure and tension I could not put it down. I was hooked from the start by this captivating new world, and its ongoing conflict. I found myself immediately empathetic towards the innocents on both sides of the rebellion. Nyra’s a strong young woman who’s been sheltered a very long time. I love that no matter what is thrown at her she fires back. Dacre comes in scary and bad ass, searching for his sister and I was sold on him immediately as well. Both characters only grew on me as the story progressed. I couldn’t get enough of their banter with one another. Each of the side characters are likeable or interesting in their own way and I hope to learn more about them in the next books!

One of my top reads so far in 2024. I already want to reread it🤭 My first Holly Renee book and definitely not my last! I’ll be over here impatiently waiting for book 2, which fortunately comes out in July!
