Ummm... it was fine. I think my expectations may have been a bit too high because I loved Mrs Nash's Ashes so much. My favorite character was Everett, and I loved Gretchen's friendship with him. His television addiction was a laugh. The relationship between Gretchen and Charlie was a bit boring and rushed. Honestly, I skimmed the last third of the book except for the bits with Everett. I'm unsure if I'll read her next book.
