The Breakup Tour was disappointing. I don’t like to give bad reviews. I DNF books I’m not enjoying. I forced myself to finish this one because I hoped I could find something to like. Spoiler alert: I could not. The second chance romance trope was not done well at all and the comparison to Taylor Swift feels very wrong. Nothing about Riley Wynn reminded me of Taylor- aren’t we done with the narrative that Taylor only writes breakup songs? To dedicate this book to Taylor & the Swifties is actually offensive. Skip this one- I’m annoyed I let myself finish it.
