Okay, well, I guess this is my personality now.
Seriously, Murderbot is the best and most relatable character I’ve come across in some time. Interact with humans? Have feeling about reality rather than the entertainment feed? No thank you.
The plot is great, the world is well developed and intriguing, and the characters are wonderfully diverse and queer. I love how casual the queer and poly rep is too. Not a focus, just a fact of the characters existence like any other, as it should be.
This book was an absolute delight. Fun, fast paced, and funny. If you are an introvert, or have ever had to work a job dealing with people you don’t want to talk to, you will absolutely love and relate to Murderbot!
(On a side note: is Murderbot autistic? I feel like Murderbot is autistic. I’m claiming it.)
I’m so happy to finally be reading this series. What a way to break into 2024!
