The suspense and eeriness of this book kept me wanting to read more and more! A super fun, campfire sort of spooky tale with a great ending. There are a few animal deaths, injuries, and violence against animals , so considering that and the genre, it definitely needs to be recommended to young readers who like scary stories and are okay with the above. But for kids that love horror, this is an awesome read!
