Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky
4.0

reading this for class was really valuable especially since there’s just so much to dissect within this book. the religious imagery and the power dynamics were two of my favorite things to pick apart because they seemed quite unexpected. i will admit that i was confused for a good chunk of the book as to the meanings of certain actions or the inclusion of different passages, but it all connected at the end - a masterful work concerning the true nature of humanity, alienation, guilt, and more !!!
