Lauren Blakely has yet to let me down-another delightfully sweet and spicy romance!! Kids in romance novels can be hard to pull off but fortunately I loved Luna and Parker. I also loved how they heightened the stakes without dampening any of the excitement of a developing romance. Also, I loved how the third act conflict played out (I’m getting so tired of romances with no third act conflicts). It made a lot of sense for the characters and brought back her devil of a father in a meaningful (hard hitting) way. There’s something I’m failing to describe in this review but basically this was well crafted and enjoyable.
The rating’s not higher because there are other romances I’ve read that I’ve adored and obsessed over; they are in a different league (respectfully). This book is wonderful! It’s just not often that I give a book 5 stars. Plus, I’ve read hundreds of romance books so I don’t give out top marks to adult romances too easily.
