This is a sort of slow slice of life type of books that I tend to really enjoy. It's sweet and simple and really a lovely read. I've loved the movie based on this book for years- somehow I stumbled across the movie years ago, watching it whenever I need a feel good type of movie, and only recently realized that there was a book behind the movie. I think I ultimately like the movie version better, probably because I saw it before reading the book, but both are equally lovely.
