Suddenly You
by Cora Rose
♥ Matthew and Cooper ♥
Genre: M/M Romance
Format: E-Book (Kindle Unlimited)
Character Development: 3.9/5 • Watching Matthew evolve and realize his true feelings was awesome to read. After getting to know Cooper from "Except You", it was nice to see more emotional depth, to truly see who he is.
Plot: 3.9/5 • The plot was engaging and well written. I enjoyed the Sem, Maggie, Emery, August, Caleb and Whit content sprinkled throughout the books. Anytime the boys are together is a treat! Seeing the growth individually and together of both Cooper and Matt was really nice.
Writing Style: 4.5/5 • Cora never fails to deliver witty banter and obsessed characters. The book was well written, with no grammatical or spelling errors. The writing style was easily digestible and did not overwhelm.
Spice Level: 3/5 • The spice was good. This was more of a comfort cuddles romance than spice heavy. However, when Cooper and Matthew finally got together it was so raw and emotional. Also, the bonus scene of their Vegas wedding night, sooooo good ;)
Overall Rating: 4.8/5 • This book did not fail to deliver the warm fuzzies that I've come to know from Cora. Matthew's personal development and realizing the things he enjoys aren't hurting anyone was great to see. Cooper's unwavering support throughout is felt in all interactions. I absolutely loved these two. My only complaint is that I wanted more. I didn't feel like it should have ended. Next is Mitch!!
Tropes:
• Vegas Wedding
• Opposites Attract
• Bi Awakening
• Touch Starved MC
• Villain Redemption
• HEA
Cheating:
Third-act breakup:
Strict roles or vers:
POV: Dual POV (First Person POV)
KU: Yes
Series: Our Exception # 2

"Closer. I need him closer. I want him to melt into me. I want him to bury his body inside of mine and never leave."
"He’s bewitched me or something. He has enough money, he absolutely could afford some kind of potion from an actual witch. I bet he even knows a few people who’d whip something up."
