I loved this book and I felt it perfectly portrayed why Winter was so cold (excuse the pun). It digs deeper into her past and gives Winter and Summer the opportunity to repair their relationship. The book also reintroduces Theo, Rhett's protégé. He is whitty and knows what he wants. He isn't afraid of Winter's hard exterior and states that "he likes to see Winter "thaw". Theo is exactly what Winter needs and is the perfect gentleman. She has lost trust in men and he supports her every step of the way.  I loved the references to Bridgerton and Greys Anatomy, it made it feel like a modern day romance. Harvey is up to his usual antics, making the usual jokes and things awkward.

This book contains the following tropes: he falls first, close proximity, grumpy x sunshine.
