The Switch by Beth O'Leary

4.0

A pretty uplifting and sweet book, even as the characters work through some big stuff. Leena, an overworked 30-something workaholic is put on a two-month leave for work and decides to live at her grandmother's house in a sleepy town. Meanwhile, her grandmother was recently deserted by her husband, so she moves into Leena's London apartment to test out the London older-adults dating scene. This book has a delightful (even when they are inherently annoying) cast of supporting characters and really highlights the important of intergenerational friendships and getting involved in your community.
