To allow yourself to play with another person is no small risk. It means allowing yourself to be open, to be exposed, to be hurt. It is the human equivalent of the dog rolling on its back.

How I wish to be the ink used to print the pages full of imperfect characters that were then bounded together to create this perfect book.

To grow to love characters who will eventually hurt us and feel immense pain is one of the most beautiful things one can experience.

Zevin, however, will pay for her crimes.

How do you preserve the impossible to preserve? Or, in other words, how do you stop time and death?
