If you’re a fan of literary fiction, getting to intimately know about the character you are reading, and breaking the bonds of generational trauma then this a book I would recommend. The prose is rich and I really just found myself sinking into this story. The story itself isn’t extraordinary, but the writing and the characters and their interactions and how it all ties together is what gives this book that extraordinary feel.
