Charm
by Tracy Wolff
I really had to fight through most of Grace’s chapters -as I normally do because she’s so insufferable- but now I also have to fight through the plot??? It was so random and descriptions were often so vague I had trouble picturing anything at all.

This book has everything. Purple cities, time wizards, shadow people, blue collar labor…
Three things really bugged me. Hudson’s random bird squawking. The 5 minute appearance of the silent Shadow Queen before she gets chucked over the “Great Wall” not to be seen or heard again after building her up to be a big baddie through the whole book. And we can’t forget that the 5th reject member of Abba with the disco ball morning star is the villain of this book. Like what????
But what I will say… Hudson on his knees in front of Grace before he feeds on her for the first time… *chef’s kiss*
You’re probably confused as to why I rated this 4 stars…I’m confused at how fast I devoured this. But Hudson always does it for me. Maybe he’s why I keep coming back?
Tracy and I have a love-hate relationship but dammit, I will be buying the next installment. No question.
