This is maybe the worst book I’ve ever read. First of the rascist stereotype of the love interest Ts enough to give it too stars. Than though there’s the book itself. First off the author constantly tells instead of shows so the lessons that should be learned from the boom feel redundent. The lack of communication between the characters gets on my nerves to no end. They don’t talk and they’re relationship feels overly sexual and I never feel like I’m rotting for ethir of them. The male relationship is the book isn’t any better. I was never rotting for them and they weren’t toghter long enough for me to care about they’re breakup. Plus the the whole “ I don’t believe in long thing annoyed me so bad to no end. Like we get it your parents have a shitty marriage. Get fucking over it I swear. The plot twist of Amelia being fucking chitter chatter wasn’t even a suprise becuase we don’t met any other fucking characters. Who else was it gonna be the Liberian. I loved the predertory lesbian steytype really made the book better. Noelle was so overall sexualized that I hated reading the beginning parts of her character. Who does the nasty in a room where you have a roommate who you know is coming back any second. The last 60 pages of the book is what really fucking did it for me. It felt like when I used to read lams(John Laurence and Alexander Hamilton) fanfic and JD would randomly fucking show up. Like what a fucking kidnapping. It wasn’t some cool plot twist it was just a shitty end to a shitty book. Than not single one of the kids parents show up until the winter ball which is like a week after these kids have been kidnapped and stabbed. You would think that if your kid got kidnapped you would show up to the police station as soon as you get the call but no instead they wait a week until theyre kids have some shitty winter ball. Who the fuck does that. And it’s never seen as a bad thing.
