The Love Simulation by Etta Easton
4.0
funny lighthearted fast-paced

Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: Yes

The Love Simulation was a quick read with a good amount of tension between the MC and the love interest as well as some platonic relationship development that was unexpected.

This book was obviously different than the first book, following Brianna Rogers (Vincent’s sister from the first book) and Roman Major the science teacher. They are at odds as they have been sort of avoiding each other’s orbits, but on a collision course. When they end up participating in the NASA Mars simulation experiment that would award them the money needed to remodel the school’s library they end in close proximity with no other choice than to work together. Brianna is still kind of suspicious about Roman’s motives since his dad is the principal at the school they both work at, and has been making Brianna’s work life a living nightmare.

As weeks go by and they get thrown into multiple scenarios and tasks to complete for the sim things get interesting between them.

Honestly, my favorite part of this book is the simulation aspect, how they problem solved, the different tasks they had to complete. The romance aspect was cute, there was a decent amount of tension.

Overall this book was exactly what I needed after reading multiple fantasy books with emotional plots.
