I wanted to love this so much. If you know, you know how much I adored The Lost Apothecary and The London Seance Society. I remember not being able to put them down and finishing them within a day, so I unfortunately had high hopes for this one. But I struggled so much, I kept checking to see how long I had left bc I wanted it to be over, I was bored and uninterested in the story. I feel not much happened, I felt didn’t feel the romance, it’s so sad that I didn’t get sucked into it like I wanted. I got more interested at around 80%, I just wish it was the whole book that kept me interested 😅
