Snowblind by Ragnar Jónasson
3.0

Snowblind depicted the ways in which people in small isolated communities become interwoven and often compromisingly so. Ari Thor is the new cop on the block and feels his ‘out of town’ status keenly as it acts as both a hindrance and help to his investigations. As decades long secrets become uncovered relationships, marriages and friendships are damaged. While I was pleasantly engaged by the book, some of the characters’ backstories and the slow pace left me a bit on the fence.
