Sickened: The Memoir of a Munchausen by Proxy Childhood
by Julie Gregory
It was a fast read, seemed genuine. I could relate to some of the feelings she expressed (not re: MBP, but other dysfunctional family stuff.)Much of it was really uncomfortable to read, and did evoke responses of outrage, disbelief (that someone could do these things to children), and sadness.
The writing is good and not overdone, she is not beating you up with some greater "lesson" or inspirational message, although the story does inspire the reader.
