loved it, the whole saving marriage, trying again stuff, a sucker for those. Aaanndr it had DUAL POV!! Love that, cherry on top 🤌🏽🍒
I do think the ending was a bit unsatisfactory tho, the epilogue was nice & cute but quite simple - u could say the ending & epilogue were a portrayal of what real life romance in marriage looks like, its not all grand and everything for ur regular people. But i do think with the way their whole issue was dragged out thru the whole book, the resolution was gonna be longer, more about getting deep in the vulnerabilities, a sort of invigorating intimate confession & talk and romantic moment about it lol. Defo there were some scenes were i was able to imagine better than the book - like the stargazing moment. That had so much romantic potential. I feel like some parts were described too extensively than required, got a lil bored - like when they enter the rooftop for the wine tasting.
Nonetheless i did like it bc of the premise of the plot & dual pov, how the characters see and describe each other. That was a huge carrier for me. Easy to read. If u dont hold these tropes as closely 💞 as I do, would probs jus be an a nice digestible enjoyable lighthearted read
