This storyline follows a young woman who comes to a small town for the summer where she meets a man and noticed there’s an entire secret society there. I really enjoyed this book and as many of y’all know, this is my second time reading it. The first time, I didn’t know what was happening but I loved the series as its entry. Now, after carefully reading and inspecting this book, I loved it so much more. The first book is where so many details are there but some may think it’s boring but honestly, they will help out in the long run. I loved the storyline and being able to understand more of the world. The pacing was just wonderful and I loved the small-town setting. 

 

Cecelia is the FMC of this story and I really enjoyed her character. There’s not much development in her story yet but I know there will be in the next book. I loved how brave of a young girl she is and how she’s trying to bring change. There are many side characters in this book but the main ones are Sean and Dom. I love there characters and how complete opposites they are. The romance is MFM, grumpy x sunshine, friends to lovers, and more. The romance is a bit steamy and so well done. 

 

The ending is a cliffhanger and so heartbreaking to see the way the last couple of chapters went. I can’t wait to read the next book because I know it’s going to be amazing.
