Though an enjoyable read, I didn’t love this book as much as I hoped I would. I was so excited about the premise, but ultimately let down.
It seemed a little drawn out at certain points of the plot. I felt like it was a little slower of a read than I would’ve liked.
I can’t pinpoint what it was that was a let-down to me. But I’ll update this review if I can put my finger on it.
Generally just underwhelming for me.
That said, I love the premise of the book. An interpretation of true crime is right up my interests. And the switching POVs with the chapters was a nice way of keeping the book a little more interesting.
