The Wild Wolf's Rejected Mate by Cate C. Wells

5.0

Can I say I have mixed feelings? I love Cate C. Wells, her writing style is top-notch and I'm always looking forward to her books. But this one left a sense of "not fast enough, and too fast at the end". We met Annie in previous books and Justus during the last book, so the author does that where she leaves you wanting to know more about these new mysterious characters. But this one did drag up until 70% of the book and then when we got to the good part, it was rushed into two chapters. Don't get me wrong, I love a good grovel, but Annie didn't find her backbone until chapter 14 (and there are 15 chapters in this book). The level of patience from Jusuts puts saints to shame. I thought he was great, he was funny, he was sincere (well, except at the beginning but emotions were running high). Overall, it was good... just slow and then rushed.

Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
