I was pleasantly surprised by this cute read. It hit all the things on a cozy mystery checklist. Newcomer in a small town. A little cottage. A little murder. Multiple suspects. Cute pets. Rumours flying around. Potential enemies to lovers (maybe? sort of? maybe in the sequel?) Add in an inheritance of a garden nursery and wait, was this written just for me or what?

A few silly characters, a light quick read with a few surprises. The protagonist got a little annoying in the second half while she tried to play detective, and things got a little extra silly, but that's the fun of it all, right?

(a little bump up in my rating because I am garden obsessed and all the plant talk tickled my fancy!)
