This was a page turner, but the plot went from a bit much to outright silly.
Parts had legit tension, but as something got interesting it wrapped up over-quick and swerved into another storyline. It was like two distinct books got smashed into each other, and it would have been better if one of them was cut. The characters had no life, they were just collections of attributes that would help them out as the plot needed.
Can’t recommend as a good book, but it was an excellent time-passer. Easy to pick up and put down, so a beach/waiting room/lunch break type thing.
