The illustrations were beautiful and I loved the prologue, but the writing afterwards was truly weird for a comic. It’s as if they tried to adapt a short story to comic form and just pasted the whole text there without letting the art speak for itself. I wish the art and text worked together for it to read more like a comic instead of an illustrated short story, but maybe that’s what they were going for?
