Party Monster: A Fabulous But True Tale of Murder in Clubland
by James St. James
Fabulous. This is the kind of drug addict I should have been.
The book is hilarious and really, really sad (as in pathetic) at the same time. James St James is completely over the top, and he writes...exactly the same way. Reading it with his voice in my head made the entire experience even more fun.
I don't know how accurate the book can really be. Anyone who snorts that much coke and does K, which I don't believe I ever did (I think) is bound to have some trouble remembering details.
But for a "based on true events in a fabulous way" book, you really cannot beat this.
