Alone by Megan E. Freeman
4.0
I have yet to read a dystopian novel in verse in this one definitely hit the nail on the head for that. I love to seeing how the main character was able to think outside of the box to survive even while she was all alone. (Definitely don’t think I would’ve made it as long as she did.)
I really wanted to give this book a 4.5/5 but the ending was just really rushed for me. I wanted more than 15 or 20 pages of what happened in the end. With saying all of that, I think my students will really enjoy it especially the survival aspect of it all.
