Ready to throw in the towel with this one after 3 chapters. I was looking forward to this after loving The Hating Game but so far it’s been a massive let down. The main character is vulgar, miserable and way too bitchy for my liking. I lost count of the use of the f word which is a major turn off for me in chick lit (eg character tells her customers to F off in the first few scenes of the book where she is working as a bartender). I get that the author is trying to create a hard sort of girl but honestly she comes across as complete trash. Might put this on the “maybe finish later” pile but in the meantime I have too many good books on my tbr pile that need to be read
