I was reading all these Harlequin Presents-esque books, so decided to just go for the real thing… and this one really hit the mark.
I mean, yes, the FMC was misjudged but she wasn’t totally innocent. And, yes, the MMC went from “you’re mine” with cold eyes intent on revenge to “you’re mine” with eyes that were hot with passion (IFYKYK), but I liked how he did try win her over in his misguided way. The final conflict resolution was also pretty satisfying.
All in all, soapy drama done well.
(I did giggle when I saw it wasn't a Greek tycoon MMC, but a Russian prince MMC though.)
