Well written and intriguing, but there wasn’t really the twist I hoped there would be. Nevertheless would recommend as an unsettling story that depicts women dealing with trauma in realistic but disturbing ways. And it manages to hold attention through the “journalist returns to small town to investigate murder” troupe, which is impressive.
Graphic: Child abuse, Self harm, Sexual violence, and Physical abuse
Moderate: Bullying, Child death, and Grief
