The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection from the Living Dead by Max Brooks

2.0

I read this immediately on the heels of World War Z, and I have to say it was a much less interesting read. It begins well enough with details on zombie senses, physical attributes, etc..., but from there it devolves into rather boring lists and repetitive rules. I wanted to like this book, but I found myself counting pages by about 1/3 of the way through. It picks up a bit towards the end when it starts listing historical encounters with zombies, but not enough for me to keep reading it for any other than finishing what I started.

This could be a decent coffee table book to pick up and skim through, but as a book to read from cover to cover, you're better off reading World War Z.
