This was actually a very important read for me. The message is the importance of letting go in all aspects of life not just with coping with a passing. Sometimes, you have to let go to be able to grow. I didn’t cry because I think I was preparing myself for things to be sad and intense. I relate to a lot of characters in this book  and it also shows that when grieving you have to take in accountability of everybody emotions. Overall, I give this book a 3.5 stars only because at times the time jumps were a little confusing in the beginning. Other than that it was a very good book filled with love, sadness, anger, and fear.
