The main character was just so daft and the bad relationship she was in was just soooo incredibly drawn out that it was just annoying. I was so frustrated at the pace and idiocy of the relationship that it didn't even work as a plot device. The epilogue gives an out of nowhere ending to tie things up in a bow. Jess's character development is almost non existent and I wish there was way more of Alex and way less guy.
