My only complaint is that I wish there had been more character development. The book highlights the progress of their relationship and the two do grow in the relationship, but I didn't ever feel as though we saw Kate and Mikhail grow as individuals. I think their relationship stabilizes both of them, but as it is presented their relationship is incredibly codependent. They are both better people inside the relationship, but not outside of it.
