If I Was Your Girl by Meredith Russo

Did not finish book. Stopped at 9%.
Honestly I'm tired of reading about trans fear and trans pain, especially the fear about being stealth and being outed. I'm sure the book is lovely but I skimmed through it and saw that there's an outing scene and mentions about physical abuse and suicide, and I'm just tired. I feel like I can't read one trans novel without someone stealth being outed or debates about if someone passes.

I just want a story where someone happens to be trans. I don't think this book is for me.
