⭐️⭐️⭐️…maybe 3.5
The writing was good, and the story premise was interesting. It draws you in to keep you reading until you can finally piece things together; I can’t say the ending was a complete surprise (again, if you’re familiar with the thriller/mystery genre, it goes without saying you’ll probably have it mostly sorted out by about 75% through - but it’s fine.)
You really do feel for Matt, though, and the struggles this family goes through right up until the end.
