Another fun book in the [b:Hex Hall|5287473|Hex Hall (Hex Hall, #1)|Rachel Hawkins|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1368393885s/5287473.jpg|5354884] series!
In this spin-off, our main character is Izzy Brannick, from a family that has been hunting monsters for centuries. I did love Izzy, but not as much as I liked Sophie. Also with Hex Hall being a trilogy and this being just one book, I obviously don't get to know Izzy as well.
One of my main problems with this one actually- there were some things left unresolved and now I'll never get to know. I'll never get to see Izzy and Dex's relationship grow and that really bugs me, you have no idea. Even though they weren't as snarky as Sophie and Archer, Izzy and Dex were still pretty nice, I liked them together.
Another thing was, this book was mostly a ghost story with some witch going-ons. There wasn't much of the whole prodigium world. I'm not complaining, it was just a different view than [b:Hex Hall|5287473|Hex Hall (Hex Hall, #1)|Rachel Hawkins|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1368393885s/5287473.jpg|5354884].
I enjoyed this book- it was quick and fun, as I often feel with Rachel Hawkin's books but I'm just really torn up over no sequel.
