Tell the Truth, Pangolin by Melinda Beatty

4.5

In a classic, repetitive, fable-like structure, this book follows what might be an unfamiliar animal in a familiar situation.  In a technicolor fairytale land, Pangolin accidentally breaks the queen’s swing.  Filled with dread, he asks his friends for advice on what to say but ends up telling the truth and offering to make things right.  A lovely story about honesty and forgiveness.
